A two-vehicle accident on Friday, April 13, left a St. Louis man injured and an Alma man arrested for suspicion of drunk driving, according to St. Louis Police Chief Richard Ramereiz, Jr.
The accident took place on Michigan Ave near Woodside Drive and Lindsay Soft Water. The vehicles involved were a minivan and a pickup truck.
The minivan driver, a 73-year-old St. Louis man, suffered back and neck injuries along with minor cuts and bruising. He was taken to Mid Michigan Medical Center in Alma and later released.
A 31-year-old Alma man was operating the pickup truck and arrested for suspicion of drunk driving. He was not injured and lodged at the Gratiot County Jail to await arraignment.
This investigation has been turned over to the Gratiot County Prosecutor.
