Cop Calls

Here are the highlights from the St. Louis Police Department’s complaint log from Tuesday, Nov. 13, through Sunday, Nov. 18. Thanks to Police Chief Richard J. Ramereiz Jr. for the following information.

Larceny

A theft of medical marijuana was reported from a house in St. Louis at 11:05 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13.

Driving While License Suspended

A 50-year-old Midland man was arrested for DWLS after being stopped for a speeding violation at Prospect and Union on Nov. 15. The suspect was released with an “appearance ticket.” The vehicle was released to a licensed driver.

Driving While License Suspended

A 27-year-old Alma man was arrested for DWLS after being stopped for an equipment violation at Mill and M-46 on Nov. 16. The suspect was lodged at the Gratiot County Jail. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver.

Property Damage Accident

The fence behind the Extreme Clean Car Wash was damaged by an unknown person. The damage occurred between Nov. 14 and 17.  Anyone with information about the accident is asked to contact the St. Louis Police Department.

Juvenile Runaway

A juvenile was reported as a runaway by the juvenile’s parent on Nov. 17 but located a short time later in town and returned home.

Assault & Battery

This was an assault between two residents of Pine River Health Care, a nursing home south of M-46 between Church of Christ and Church of the Nazarene on Nov. 18. Due to the circumstances of the persons involved, no prosecution will be pursued.
