Cop Calls

Here are the highlights from the St. Louis Police Department’s complaint log from March 12 to 25. Thanks to Police Chief Richard J. Ramereiz Jr. and Sgt. Kristi Forshee for the following information.

Distracted driver

A 36-year-old St. Louis resident was distracted while driving, left the road on West State Street and struck a parked vehicle that was unoccupied at about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 12. No one was injured.

Backing up accident

A 35-year-old St. Louis resident was backing out of a driveway when they struck a vehicle that was passing by at about 3:20 p.m. Thursday, May 14, on West Hazel. No one was injured.

Off Road Injury Accident

A person was trapped underneath a trailer behind a vehicle in the 300 block of East State Street about 9 p.m. Thursday, March 21. The person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Found property

A wallet was found and returned to its owner on Friday, March 22.

Dog at large

A black puppy was found in the 100 block of North Watson Street and taken to animal control about 8 a.m. Monday, March 25.
