Attempted car theft
A truck located on the lot of Seeley Auto Sales was found vandalized on Wednesday, March 27. It is believed the vandalism (broken window & damage to the interior) occurred during the night. Some of the damage found indicates the suspect(s) may have tried to start the vehicle. A 36-year-old St. Louis resident reported being harassed/threatened on Wednesday, March 27.
A 29-year-old Alma resident was arrested for driving with a suspended license after being stopped for an equipment violation at M-46 and Pine on Wednesday, March 27.
Police received a report of a barking dog in the 600 block of Michigan Avenue on Thursday, March 28. The owner of the dog was contacted and issued a warning.
A vehicle owned by a 28-year-old St. Louis resident was reported to have been sideswiped while parked in the city parking lot behind the 200 block of North Mill Street on Thursday, March 28. This incident is under investigation.
A 23-year-old Saginaw man was arrested in Isabella County Friday, March 29, on a warrant held by the St. Louis Police Department. St. Louis police took custody of the man and lodged him at the Gratiot County Jail.
A 37-year-old St. Louis resident was found highly intoxicated in the yard of a residence on Sunday, March 31. The subject was transported to the MidMichigan Medical Center – Gratiot.
