The Gratiot Area Chamber of Commerce hosts a forum on funding Michigan roads beginning 7 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at the Gratiot-Isabella RESD in Ithaca.
The RESD is located on Center Street directly across from Dollar General.
The forum will feature The Center for Michigan which will present the findings of its latest report, Fixing Michigan’s Road Mess: The Unclear Path Ahead.
Based on input from more than 3,200 statewide residents, this report explores the Michigan public’s priorities for road repairs.
The Center for Michigan is a “think-and-do” tank founded by former newspaper publisher and University of Michigan Regent Phil Power in early 2006.
A 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, The Center for Michigan’s objective is to make Michigan a better place by encouraging greater understanding and involvement in policy issues among the state’s citizens and making sure their voices are regularly heard.
The forum is open for all to attend. Questions? Call 989-463-5525.
