Cop Calls

Here are the highlights from the St. Louis Police Department’s complaint log from Jan. 26 to Feb. 2. Thanks to Police Chief Richard J. Ramereiz Jr. for the following information.

Drugged driving

A 21-year-old Mt. Pleasant resident was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs after being stopped for driving while being distracted by a cell phone on Sunday, Jan. 26 at M-46 and Main Street. 

Dog at large

A male dog, possibly an American bulldog mix, was found at large in the 300 block of North Street on Wednesday, Jan. 29. The dog is white in color with a brown patch over the left eye and was turned over to Gratiot County Animal Control.

Fugitive arrest

A 41-year-old St. Louis resident was arrested for driving on a suspended license and for an outstanding warrant from another police agency after being stopped for a moving traffic violation on Sunday, Feb. 2, at Michigan Avenue and Park.
