St. Louis City Councilman Bill Leonard manned the dunk tank for an hour to help raise money for Gratiot/Isabella Relay for Life on Saturday, Aug. 14, at the Shepherd High School track.
Folks paid $2 each for three balls that they then used to trigger the mechanism that dunked Leonard.

“There were smaller children that my cousin and I used enhanced tactics to ensure their success and be certain I got wet,” Leonard said.
The event raised $48,000, said St. Louis resident Hannah Peterman of Commercial Bank, one of two event coordinators. (The other one was Jennifer Vaughn, also of Commercial Bank.)
