Here are the highlights from the St. Louis Police Department’s complaint log for Oct. 4-10. Thanks to Police Chief Richard J. Ramereiz Jr. for the following information.
Traffic accident, suspended license
A 34-year-old Weidman resident rear ended a vehicle driven by a 44-year-old St. Louis resident on River Court near North Main on Thursday, Oct. 4. Minor injuries were reported. The Weidman resident was ticketed for the accident and also for driving on a suspended license.
SD card found
An SD camera memory card was found in city hall parking lot Thursday, Oct. 7. It contained a picture from a trail camera that appears below. If you own the card and want it back you can get it at the St. Louis Police Department.
A juvenile was taken into custody by court order and on Friday, Oct. 8, and lodged at a youth facility.
Hit and run
A 21-year-old St. Louis resident saw a vehicle strike a parked and unoccupied vehicle in the 200 block of West Center on Friday, Oct. 8. The parked vehicle was owned by a 41-year-old St. Louis resident. The suspect was later identified as a juvenile. The juvenile was contacted and admitted to striking the parked vehicle. The owner of the damaged vehicle did not press charges.
Truck stolen, damaged, returned
Someone stole a silver Dodge pickup truck off the Seeley Auto Sales lot on the night of Friday/Saturday, Oct. 8-9, went joyriding, got a flat tire and a bent rim, then returned the truck to Seeley Auto Sales. The vehicle, belonging to a Seeley employee, was left there with the key in the ignition. A 22-year-old Mt. Pleasant resident sideswiped a vehicle driven by a 47-year-old Alma resident at 5:55 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11, while changing lanes on M46 at Clinton. Minor damage was reported but no injuries.
